Piano lessons for school-age students are scheduled weekly during the school year and organized into six-week sessions. The lesson calendar is based around the Douglas County school system with no lessons scheduled during school breaks and a flexible lesson schedule during the summer. Lessons are either 30 or 45 minutes long depending on student age and level. Parents have a choice anytime whether to stay and observe the lessons or leave.
Do you regret not learning the piano growing up or wish your parents wouldn’t have let you quit as a child? Piano lessons are a wonderful blessing for many adults, whether you’re looking to simply play for fun, keep your mind active, or pull out the old piano tunes you love so well.
To allow flexibility in adult schedules, lessons are offered in an à la carte format. You will attend lessons once a week or every other week for six weeks at a time. After that, you can choose to continue for another six or call it good!
Piano lessons for preschool and some kindergarten students are taught as partner lessons (two students at a time) or sometimes in a small group of 3-5 students. Your child is ready for threse types of lessons when they can recognize and write the letters A-G and count to 10. Parents will stay for the lesson and learn along with their child.
