I began teaching piano lessons in the Highlands Ranch area in the 1990's.  I moved my teaching studio to the Solstice neighborhood in Littleton in 2023.    I grew up in Littleton, and I've been working in the South Metro Denver area as a professional pianist and accompanist since I was in college.

Besides my busy piano studio, I am the choir accompanist at Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch, and the principal pianist at Christ Lutheran Church in Highlands Ranch.  I often work as a professional accompanist for singers and instrumentalists and play piano for weddings and local events.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music - Piano Performance, from the University of Colorado.  I was fortunate to study as a child with master teachers Bernard and Carolyn Shaak in Denver.  I also earned a Level 1 Orff certification and hold all levels in  Musikgarten (a teaching method certified by the Early Childhood Music and Movement Association.)  I am a member of the Music Teacher's National Association, Colorado State Music Teacher's Association and South Suburban Music Teachers Association.  Although I have a long list of students who have earned scholarships towards their continued study of music in college, I am very proud of my even longer list of students who have mastered the piano and gone on to be life-long pianists who continue playing for personal enjoyment throughout their lives.
